Ling said that i havent been blogging for a long long time. yup yup yup, agree. Tt's so true. This is probably due to my busy schedule or rather im simply too lazy to type. So? Some day down the road, U may jus happen to bump into a familar looking stranger by the name of Vivian who is equally bad in English and Mandarin. So how do U communicate with her?! Try the 'sign language'! haha. k, that was crappy, i'm getting random, hasnt been like tt for a long time. It's time to RELEASE. hahahaha..
So... Wad've i been up to? I really wonder though. learnt nth but I miss SCHOOL. At least we can be home early, at least i have jo to crap ard with, at least i have my jie to suan, at least i have ppl to laugh at... ... Sch wld be good w/o exams! And i dun mind being in the education system if tt's the case. hehe.
K, I finally ended my 3 mths (Long x 100^99) contract with Det Norske Veritas (Offshore). hm, it was a good experience in admin where i learnt to archive papers (tonnes of them, believe me) into boxes labelled 'SANTA FE'. I learnt to photocopy (tts easy! but i noe how to scan too! anw, im pro with the machine already, but only for FUJI) Btw, photocopy is my hobby at work. haha.. And i DREAD ARCHIVING!! NONONO!! wad else. yup, i learnt to file the drawings, stamp them with 'for information', 'approved', 'see letter' (rep comments), 'date', 'office copy', 'site copy'. haha, and sth im proud of, I learnt to use the NPS Programme to search for discipline, drawing no, tech doc no, letters, journal no., create approval letters, publish etc... oh, not forgetting wadsoever batam site office, s'pore site office, shanghai, oslo. also, i came across companies like prosafe, keppelfels, keppel shipyard, loys etc. these are the terms i see everyday. haha
BUT i tink my job is actually quite slack in the sense that i always try hard to come up with lame excuses so as to not attend work. WHY?! I've fallen in love with my bed lately. And i hate to be part of the crowd. Sian. But when i'm in the office, it's real work, seriously i tink i work like a dog for the stupid $6/hr. WTH! cuts here and there, also not enough to pay for my medical expenses.
oh yes, i jus remembered. I didnt expect to see T17 in DNV. haha. There's jo hsuan, yu juan, yong jian, benjamin, ling, marcus. haha. oh, then there's this woman which i v pissed at. finally found one worst than the one in T17. didnt like her since the day i stepped into the office. and later discovered tt most ppl dont like her. haha, stereotyping. Im influenced i guess. She stepped on my fiery button on this particular morning when she was squeezing in front of me to board the ever so crowded 92. In the chaotic push and squeeze, she took a step back and OUCH! she stepped on my toe. and guess wad she said. "OOPS, SOR...". WTH, i tink u owe me a sorry! i jus painted my toe nail the night before, and there u go, a step and u managed to remove it for me w/o the aid of a nail polish removal. U'r such a pro. Also, stop standing anywhere near me and expect me to greet u good morning 1st. U dun say, I dun say. Big Deal! oh, and how thick-skinned can a person get? u ask me to zip all the songs i have in my com for u? why shld i? (My OS: Fat Hope! Who are you for me to do so?) U are not even paying me. at the very least, u are not even my friend. U said listening to songs from ur com and transfer them to ur ipod is time consuming, but dun transfering all my songs to ur ipod and then listen to them one by one to delete those u dun like equally (I tink more) time-consuming!?! PleasE! U gotta be considerate. AND use ur brain! U 'see the logic'! (study physics if u dun! hehe *random) I tink i can write a long list of complaints abt her (from my colleagues and I) but i decided not to tarnish my blog. She's nt worth it. jus worthy enough to be present in a small entry of mine to keep in memory tt such ppl do exist in this world.
However, thankfully the secretaries are nice ppl. grace, fiona, jesslyn, alice. gotta thanks them for the help and guidance during the 3 mths. oh yes, DNV is the place to gain weight. haha. training=catering=good food. remembering the days where we took out lunch boxes to take home the leftovers. CNY lunch at Sheraton. Farewell Dinner at this Brazil Restaurant in Sixth Avenue. Ok, confession time, i took up drinking. haha. my excuse: red wine is good for health. Also, beef is not nice, stop telling me it's nice. i dun wanna recarnate to a cow my nxt life. Dear cows, im so sorry i ate a slice, and a piece of you. Please 4give me, will u? :(( last week was havoc. swensen at vivo on tues, chocolate fondue! (yet i still prefer earthquake) had my 1st try of chamomile tea at coffee company. korean bbq at west coast on thurs. 15% raspberry wine !! :)) nice nice. will definitely drink more if i were at home. the white wine was nice too. fri was my last day. Half day! Hooray! then back to DLSS.
$7/hr every mon, wed, fri (as requested by me, cos it's a waste of time to work mon to fri) or a 7am to 1pm job?? Im so tempted by the increase in pay from $6 to $7 per hour. but everyone said "dun be stupid!" haha. so...
VIVIAN is a Relief Teacher now! hehe. U can call me 王老师. haha. then it's obviously im teaching chinese.
Had my 1st lesson today (14/04/08, 7.55am) with class 5H and at 11.20 with class 2H. :) these kids from 2H are cute but overly hyper. Can you guys/gals stop making me scream at u all?! I still wanna k box OKAY!! back in the good old days when i was only 12, cant imagine i was actually standing among the white and brown dressed kids. ever so petite, obedient, quiet, playful. how time flies. back to my alma mater, hearing the sch song i long 4got the lyrics. okay, at least i cld still hum along and figured out some of the words. "All through de la salle, a voice is resounding" was fine, but but but... hehe. and the national pledge! it was months ago when my right hand was placed on my left chest. yayaya, national anthem. I MISS SCHOOL!! LECTURES!! BREAK!! :(( all these will only be history. It's sad tt all these werent being cherished and appreciated when i had them. It's too late, way too late!
